QJD Design Studio and Erxell Design is all about the design of new homes with a chic new edge that reflects the fact that they are in essence an architectural design studio. Whilst interviewing owner Quinton Damstra he was more than happy to share that they also explore furniture design, sculpture, writing, poetry, cartooning, and lastly TAKING OVER THE WORLD!!! …no he didn’t reeeeally say that but he did say they want to ultimately  start designing and creating future world concepts… which comes pretty close to taking over the world I’d say

Quinton summed up the company as “under promise, over deliver - futuristic”, it is clear from his blinding passion and enthusiasm that QJD and Erxell Design is sure to take to the global stage and sweep design lovers off their feet. The innovative and modern approach of Quinton drives the company and is what ultimately put them on our most trendiest company list.

Quinton told us that he collects architectural digests from 1965 onwards which he finds are great inspiration. He also mentioned  Antoni Gaudi, Hundertwasser, De stijl, Colani, and Oscar Niemeyer. “If a concept still looks current today in a 1965 design magazine - it’s worth exploring.” says Quinton. Lastly he added NATURE, NATURE, NATURE!!! It’s hard to imagine how he contains all his passion.
